We accept children to be natural, enjoy childhood and be carefree. However, there is a distinction between being carefree and being careless.
Being carefree is a positive trait and a life skill whereas being careless is detrimental at any stage of life.
The modern day parenting, the social pressure of putting children in multifarious activities, the general apathy in schools towards academic excellence and an inherent weakness in curriculum despite the cosmetic attraction are some of the factors which are accentuated by the ultra-modern hi-tech gadgetry the children are exposed to
